Dr. Deborah WHITE McEniry is an actor and singer who studied music education and voice at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and later received her master’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance as well as her Ph.D. in theatre – both from NYU. She has performed since she was a child; her favorite roles are Emma in Annapurna, Maria in The Sound of Music, Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel, Charity Barnum in Barnum, Emily in Running and Annie Dove Denmark in The Denmark Story. She married her high school sweetheart, an Army officer; she was blessed to find teaching jobs where he was stationed and taught at Armstrong Atlantic University, University of MD College Park and University of MD European Division. When her husband retired early from the military, she took a position as theatre professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University where she was privileged to teach Ashley and eleven years later, she moved to Anderson University to teach theatre and chair the department. In 2019, after much prayer and thought, Dr. McEniry decided to retire from AU to pursue her acting career; she moved back to NYC, acquired an agent, auditioned and studied the newest acting techniques until covid hit New York City in 2020. At the request of her family, she returned to South Carolina and signed with an Atlanta agent. She appeared as Yelena Fedotonova in 3 episodes of the television show Tetris Murders on Discovery Plus and as a fitness model on Good Morning America. She is mom to two amazing children and GiGi to 3 perfect granddaughters, ages 4, 2 and 7 months. She has loved every minute of writing this script with Ashley. Ashley played Trudy in Season 4 of Legacies on The CW, directed by America Young. She worked with Tyler Perry and choreographer Debbie Allen in the Netflix feature A Jazzman's Blues, and was also directed by Tyler Perry in The Oval on BET. On Lifetime Movie Network, she played Whitney Davis in the feature film The Stranger She Brought Home. AAron Barsky “After a stint in the Navy and almost two years on the road afterwards to clear my head, I ran into a Junior High School friend in NYC. I told her what I had been upto and that I thought my next step would be computers as I had no idea in the world what else to do. She asked me if I wanted to work on a movie and here we are over 40+ years later 1,000’s of shots, 100’s of scripts and a million stories later. I became a NY street PA, grip and later a 1st Assistant Director (When HARRY MET SALLY). I have dedicated my working life to scheduling shoots, making shots, and making sure we keep to the intended story and doing all in a timely manner around the world. From World War II Leningrad in a Russian winter, to a car/truck chase/crash story in the Everglades of a Florida summer, to Marrakesh during Ramadan, to the fields of Lithuania, To telling the story of Attila the Hun; I have worked along side a myriad of Directors, Cinematographers, Producers and crews learning more about my craft day by day as each set, script and scene has itS own demands and dynamics. I have been called upon to direct several times and have answered the call with all the energy and ACCRUED knowledge within me. I love making movies.”
